KPMG Ford, Rhodes, Thornton
& Co., was recently recognized as one of the "Most Respected Entities in Sri
Lanka" in the August 2009 issue of the "MOST RESPECTED".
The "MOST RESPECTED" annual
publication by Media Services recognizes the 100 most respected entities in Sri
Lanka in a listing which is compiled based on an independent survey by the
Nielsen Company involving feedback from 800 business people in Sri Lanka.
Most respected entities in
the listing are perceived to reflect exemplary standards in management profile,
quality consciousness, honesty, dynamism, vision, CSR, innovation, work
environment, nation-mindedness and financial performance.
KPMG in Sri Lanka is the
only professional services firm to be included in the listing this year. Other
entities featured in the listing include multinationals, conglomerates and
listed companies.
The August 2009 issue of the publication also includes an article based on an
interview with Mr. Nirmal Fernando, Senior Partner of KPMG Ford, Rhodes,
Thornton & Co. who commented on the initiatives implemented by the Firm which
contributed positively towards the growth of the Firm and towards this
achievement.
