The Lanka Monthly Digest in its "THE LMD 50" (December 2007 issue) ranked KPMG Ford, Rhodes, Thornton & Co. in the first position in the Auditors league for Auditing 28 of THE  LMD 50 Companies. The ranking of first position in the Auditors league comes for the second consecutive year since a similar rating the previous year. THE LMD 50 ranks Sri Lanka's leading listed companies based on turnover. The December issue indicated the leading listed companies for the fiscal year 2006/07.
