KPMG to provide CMMi Advisory for 7 ICT Companies in Sri Lanka

 

KPMG was recently selected to provide Advisory Assistance to 7 of Sri Lanka's leading ICT companies as part of the ICBP Strategy on Company Quality Enhancement. The 7 companies are from an overall 11 companies selected for the CMMi Quality Enhancement Programme during the first round of grants of the ICBP Programme. The KPMG Team comprises of both International professionals from the KPMG CMMi Advisory Center of Excellence in India together with the assistance of a local team of over 20 IT Advisory resources from the Sri Lankan member firm. Quality has always been a driving factor for the ICT industry and has often been a source of competitive advantage to ICT Companies. The initiative is expected to result in a stronger market & value proposition for the participant companies in addition to strong process improvements and structuring to drive companies forward.

KPMG member firms have carried out over 200 CMMi Advisory Assignments during recent years including assisting 7 of India's leading IT companies in obtaining CMMi certification.
